Further description of Clutch plate
The part Clutch plate is one of the most basic parts used in the power transmission mechanism of tractors manufactured by Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company. It has one of the most basic roles in the power transmission mechanism from the engine to the gearbox.
To explain more, the tractor clutch system is composed of components that include the clutch plug, clutch plate, clutch bearing, lever, bolts, gear plate and clutch disc. All tractors have a piece called the clutch plate that allows the driver to move the tractor and change gears.
The clutch plate has a cushion design that creates a softening or cushioning effect between the engaging surfaces when the clutch engages. In addition, the clutch plate has a vibration arrester design that prevents the transmission of torsional vibrations from the gearbox and vice versa.
Clutch plate
The clutch plate is a circular plate that is in frictional contact with the clutch disc. This part is in constant contact with the flywheel with the pressure of the clutch disc, and if the clutch pedal is pressed, the system leverages and separates the clutch plate from the flywheel. In the middle of the clutch plate, a thousand-pronged ball is placed to engage the gearbox inlet shaft, which rotates the clutch shaft plate in the event of a flywheel rotation. Around the clutch plate, the pads are riveted to the wavy spring plates of the clutch plate, which will gradually apply pressure to the plate when the clutch engages. In addition, grooves have been installed on the pads for better cooling and to prevent overheating. These pads are installed on both sides of the clutch plate.
